1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Jace Schmidt ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of the DealPilot AI mobile application and related services (the "Service"), collects, uses, and shares information about you.

Application: DealPilot AI

Developer/Operator: Jace Schmidt

Privacy & support contact: DealPilotAiSupport@gmail.com

Effective date: June 13, 2026 · Last updated: June 15, 2026

2. Scope & Acceptance

This Policy applies to information we process when you create an account, use the app's tools, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy.

DealPilot AI is a business productivity tool for real‑estate investors and wholesalers. It is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older and is not directed to children.

3. Information We Collect

a) Account information

What: your email address, display name, and a securely hashed password (for email sign‑ups). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, email, name, and profile picture from the sign‑in provider. Why: to create and secure your account and identify you. Required: yes, to use the Service. Collected: from you at sign‑up / from the sign‑in provider. Stored: in our database. Retention: for the life of your account (see Retention). Shared: with the auth/email providers described below.

b) Content you create (your CRM data)

What: properties you add (addresses, price/ARV/repair figures, notes, and property photos you upload), leads, cash‑buyer records, follow‑up reminders, deal‑pipeline status, and saved AI outputs (deal analyses and generated seller messages). Why: to provide the core functionality you request. Required: optional — only what you choose to enter. Collected: directly from you. Stored: in our database (photos are stored as image data in the database). Retention: until you delete the item or your account. Shared: not shared except with the AI provider when you run an AI action on that content (see Section 5).

Important — third‑party contact details: leads and buyers may include other people's names, phone numbers, and email addresses that you enter. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to provide that information and for using it in compliance with applicable laws (including anti‑spam and marketing laws).

c) AI prompts, conversations & generated content

What: the text prompts and property/lead context you submit to AI features, and the AI‑generated responses. Why: to generate analyses, messages, photo condition assessments, and assistant replies. Required: optional — only when you use an AI feature. Collected: directly from you. Stored: assistant chat transcripts are not stored as records in our primary database; however, AI outputs that you save (e.g., a deal analysis or a generated message) are stored under your account. See Section 5 for how AI providers process this data. Retention: until you delete the related item or your account.

d) Purchases, subscriptions & credits

What: your subscription tier, credit balances, and transaction/purchase records (including store transaction identifiers used to prevent duplicate credit grants). Why: to operate the credit system, unlock features, and prevent fraud/abuse. Required: yes, if you make a purchase. Collected: from you and from the app‑store billing/RevenueCat flow. Stored: in our database. Note: we do not collect or store your credit‑card or bank details — payments are processed by Apple, Google, and/or RevenueCat, not by us. Retention: transaction records may be retained in anonymized form after account deletion for tax, accounting, and fraud‑prevention purposes.

e) Technical & device information

What: your device platform (iOS/Android), app version, and IP address. Why: app version and platform help us handle bug reports; IP addresses are used transiently to apply rate limits and mitigate abuse. Required: automatic. Collected: automatically when you use the Service or submit feedback. Stored: app version/platform are stored only when you submit feedback; IP addresses are used in‑memory for rate‑limiting and are not stored as user profile data. Retention: feedback metadata is retained with the feedback record. Shared: with our hosting/infrastructure providers as part of normal operation.

f) Support & feedback

What: the category, subject, message, and any screenshot you attach, plus your account email, app version, and platform automatically attached to the report. Why: to review and respond to your request. Required: only if you contact us. Collected: directly from you. Stored: in our database. Retention: for as long as needed to handle and document the request.

g) Camera & photo library

What: images you capture or select. Why: to attach property photos for AI condition analysis. Required: optional — only if you use the photo feature and grant permission. We request camera/photo permission contextually; you can decline or revoke it in your device settings.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to: provide and maintain the Service; authenticate you and keep your account secure; operate AI features you request; process purchases and manage credits/subscriptions; prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms; respond to support and feedback; comply with legal obligations; and improve reliability and fix bugs. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to build advertising profiles.

5. AI Data (How AI Features Work)

When you use an AI feature, the prompt and the relevant property/lead context you provide are transmitted over an encrypted connection to our AI processing provider (Emergent's LLM gateway, which routes requests to Anthropic's Claude models) to generate a response.

AI‑generated content is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose, and it may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not submit information you consider highly sensitive, and do not rely on AI output as legal, tax, financial, real‑estate, or other professional advice. We cannot guarantee that AI interactions are confidential once transmitted to a third‑party AI provider, and AI conversations are not “100% private.”

6. Third‑Party Services We Use

We share limited information with the following service providers, only as needed to operate the Service:

Emergent (AI gateway & email delivery)

Purpose: routes AI requests to large‑language‑model providers (Anthropic Claude) and sends transactional emails (e.g., email‑verification codes). Data shared: AI prompts/context; recipient email address and message content for verification emails. Necessary: yes, for AI features and email verification.

Anthropic (Claude LLM)

Purpose: generates AI text/analysis. Data shared: the prompt and context you submit. Necessary: yes, for AI features. Policy: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy

RevenueCat (purchase management)

Purpose: manages in‑app subscriptions and purchase state across platforms. Data shared: an app‑user identifier tied to your account and purchase/entitlement information. Necessary: only if you purchase. Policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

Apple App Store / Google Play (payments)

Purpose: process in‑app purchases and subscriptions. Data shared: purchase transactions are handled by the store; we receive purchase confirmations/identifiers, not your payment card. Policies: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ and https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Sign‑In (optional authentication)

Purpose: lets you sign in with your Google account (via Emergent‑managed OAuth). Data shared/received: your Google identifier, email, name, and profile picture. Necessary: only if you choose Google sign‑in. Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Database & hosting

Purpose: store your data and run the Service. We use a managed MongoDB database and cloud hosting/CDN infrastructure to operate the backend and app delivery. Data shared: information described in this Policy, as needed to store and serve it.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties; please review their policies.

7. How We Share Information

We share information only: (a) with the service providers listed above to operate the Service; (b) to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests; (c) to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or the Service, and to enforce our Terms; and (d) in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy. We do not sell your personal information.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including:

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

9. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:

Some records may persist temporarily in encrypted backups after deletion and are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.

10. Account Deletion & Your Choices

Account deletion is different from logging out. Logging out only ends your current session; it does not delete your account or data. To permanently delete your account, use the in‑app option at Settings → Account → Delete Account, or our public account‑deletion web page (also linked from Settings → Legal & Support and from the “Delete account” page on our website).

What deletion removes

Permanent deletion removes: your account and profile; your user‑generated content (properties, leads, buyers, follow‑ups, and deal‑pipeline data); uploaded property photos; AI‑related information stored under your account (saved deal analyses and generated seller messages); your feedback and AI reports; email‑verification records; and all active sessions. Your access is revoked immediately.

Credits & subscriptions on deletion

Unused credits (daily, monthly, and purchased) are associated with your account and become unavailable when the account and its data are deleted, subject to applicable law and applicable app‑store policies. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play — you must cancel those in your store account to prevent future charges.

What may be retained

We retain transaction/purchase records required for tax, accounting, and fraud‑prevention purposes. After deletion these records are orphaned from your identity (no name or email) and hold only a random account identifier. Some records may persist briefly in encrypted backups after deletion and are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.

You may also update your profile in the app and control device permissions (camera/photos) in your device settings.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise access and deletion directly in the app, or contact us at the email above and we will respond as required by applicable law.

United States (including South Dakota) & California: we do not sell personal information or share it for cross‑context behavioral advertising. California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

EEA/UK: where applicable, our legal bases for processing are performance of a contract, our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), your consent (e.g., device permissions), and compliance with legal obligations.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Cookies & Tracking

The mobile app does not use third‑party advertising or analytics SDKs and does not use advertising identifiers. We store your authentication token in secure device storage to keep you signed in. On the web sign‑in flow, a temporary session identifier may appear in the URL solely to complete authentication and is then removed. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

14. International Users

We operate in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data‑protection laws than your own.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and the version, and, where appropriate, notify you or request renewed acceptance in the app. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
